UGBA has started the biggest fundraising effort since the beginning of our existence. This movement is to help defeat U.S. Senate Bill S-345 and a possible companion U.S. House of Representatives Bill.

Senate Bill S-345 is an amendment to the Animal Welfare Act Amendment of 1976 to stop the interstate transportation of gamefowl for fighting purposes to legal states.

All money collected for this fund will go to help defeat this bill and to pay for a registered lobbyist in Washington, D.C. A special account has been set up for this purpose. A close accounting of all funds will be kept and reported.
